This is probably a little weird, but I'm the person who nominated They Were Eleven and I'm delighted to see someone else requesting it. :D (I only nommed the two characters because I literally could not decide between the rest, so I just decided to go with the two I knew I wanted.) There is so much space (pardon the pun) for worldbuilding in it and I really loved reading your letter here.
I'm also relieved to see we have the same issue with the end. (High five?)
Now to go see if I can wrangle my own requests into something coherent...
